Think kitchens, baths, additions, decks, custom home builds, and light commercial tenant improvements. It also works well for the MEP trades — electricians, plumbers, HVAC, and other mechanical specialists who need clean scopes, change orders, and invoicing without the bloat. If you'd rather be framing than formatting, you're the target.
Describe the job in plain English — "remove wall between kitchen and dining, install 22 LF of shaker cabinets, quartz counters, LVP floors" — and the AI returns a line-itemized scope with quantities, material specs, and labor estimates. The more detail you give it — dimensions, finishes, fixture brands, site conditions — the more accurate the scope comes back. You can edit every line before it goes to the client. Upload a sketch, floor plan, or architectural plans and it will produce scopes from them too. Interactive measurement takeoffs coming post-launch.
Yes. Proposals open in any mobile browser — no app install, no login. Clients review, initial each section if you've enabled it, and sign with a finger. You get a notification the moment they open and sign it, plus a timestamped audit trail for your records.
Card payments are 2.9% + 30¢ per transaction (standard Stripe pricing) and ACH bank transfers are 0.8% capped at $5 per transaction. BuilderRole adds zero markup — you pay Stripe's rate directly. You can also choose to pass the card fee to the client at checkout.
